Hi, I’m Jackson Hirshberg, a college student at the University of Utah. I created this website for my Web Design class, inspired by my own daily routine. Between classes and work, I often find myself with small stretches of downtime and I really didn’t enjoy spending them glued to my phone and on social media.

To make that time easier to pass, I started carrying items that bring me joy, spark creativity, or help me slow down and reflect. I realized many people probably feel the same way, so I decided to share these ideas through a website about “portable companions”, which are items that make the waiting times and those slow periods more enjoyable.
